  1. @MattG I do not think agreeing to those type of things change your type of mindset because in life you will always have to change small things like that its the big things in life that defines you as if you are a growth or fixed minset

  2. @gabea I agree. Which mindset you use to react to these big changes is what can either change your life for the good or for the bad.

  3. @jeff p I do not think there is a middle mindset because if you are a fixed mindset then you cant change that and also be half growth mindset you are ethier fixed or growth

  4. @jeff I don't think there is a middle mindset but I think people can have a growth mindset about some things in life and a fixed mindset on other aspects of life.

  5. @nicks I disagree because you can only have one mindset you say you can have both but then you disagree with what Jeff says about a middle mindset so

  6. @gabea what I am saying is you can't have a middle mindset. you can't be kind of growth, but also kind of fixed. But, I think that for example you have a growth mindset for hockey, but maybe a more fixed mindset towards school.

  7. @nck but then your saying i have both mindsets which is low key stating that there is a middle mindset for your life so what you are saying is false you are suppose to be agreeing with jeff

  8. @gabea yes I am. But I am not saying you have a "middle mindset" that is in between growth and fixed. I am saying you have a growth mindset about some aspects of life and a fixed mindset for other aspects.

  10. @gabea it would be exactly what you just said. A growth mindset with swimming and a fixed mindset with English.

  12. @nick we did a study showing if you had a fixed or growth mindset there wasn't a middle mindset choice you only have fixed or growth

  13. @gabe I think you just agreed that we both think there is no middle mindset...

  14. @Jake H.- I think that pressure can make a person mess up. If the person get nervous, they might have all of their focus on their image, not their performance.

  15. @NIkko G.- Kids with more talent and less effort might go farther than other because someone notices their skills and not their work ethic.

  16. @Class- What is the best way to raise a child so his/her confidence grows, but doesn't make them a fixed mindset?
